This is especially the case in tropical countries like Singapore, whereby lighting and air conditioning of existing buildings have been identified as the two main contributors to the high electrical consumption within the country. As such this project aims to study the feasibility of incorporating sustainable green features in buildings located in Singapore, with the focus placed primarily on high rise buildings. The purpose of doing so is to provide a plausible solution to reduce energy consumption in high rise buildings via the implementation of an energy efficient design and framework.
