Experiment data that have been collected by past researchers are presented and analyzed. The different parameters collected in the past researches are classified under three groups namely characteristic of water flow, channel shape and dimension, and characteristic of sediment bed materials. Those parameters are used to predict the resultant scour hole profile i.e. maximum equilibrium scour depth (dse), maximum equilibrium scour width (Wse), maximum equilibrium scour length (Lse), and equilibrium scour volume (Vse). Dimensional analysis was conducted to simplify the parameters under consideration. Buckingham П theorem is utilized in the dimensional analysis. The dimensionless parameters from the dimensional analysis were used to establish a set of scour prediction models. Subsequently, the proposed model was implemented into the past study data and multiple regression was conducted for each model to complete the proposed equation with relevant coefficient. Linear least square method was used in the regression process. This study investigates the correlation between various parameters that occurs in the scouring process.
