Description
Summary:Geopolymerisation is a relatively new concept that is being used to develop geopolymer concrete. In this geopolymer concrete, incineration bottom ash is used as a substitute source material to make the binder needed for concrete manufacture. Concrete is very important in the construction industry; clearly seen in its worldwide usage and application. Buildings are constantly being demolished or devastated, and being rebuilt, thus the need for concrete. Cement exists as an essential ingredient in conventional concrete; it acts as a binder that holds the fine and coarse aggregates in place after the addition of water.
