Haptic-based interaction in serious game development
Haptic technology is uses of the touch and forces feedback to allow the users to feel the obstacles or increase the interesting and productivity of works or games. It is used in many field include aircraft industry which uses servomechanism system to operate control surface. Electroencephalogram (EE...

It is used in many field include aircraft industry which uses servomechanism system to operate control surface. Electroencephalogram (EEG) technology is also widely used in 21st century. It converts the brain wave to digital signal and allows operators to use the data in many ways for example in clinical field. The aim of this project is to look at the characterization of haptics and EEG technology and to develop a serious game using the haptics and EEG game engine. Through the project, Mircrosoft Visual Studio 2008 and CHAI 3D were used to do the coding and debugging. The literature review will provide reviews on description of haptics games, haptics game engines, application of EEG and proposed game for medical field. Game development and game engine used are also including in the report.
