Realizing this concern, this final year project mainly discusses on Mobile Heart Saver software development of detecting, analyzing and identifying heart failures. The whole device is simulated by LabVIEW. The system is mainly composed of three parts. First one is data collection. ECG Signals used for this system designed are collected from MIT-BIH database. Second part is ECG signal processing and monitoring using wavelet method and Kaiser Digital filter. These two methods will be discussed in this report also. In addition, the signals are continuously monitored in real time. The analyses mainly focus on the R to R internal of one typical heart beats period. The final part is abnormal signal detection and data transmission. The system will detect for heart rate variability and send early identification alert via Siemens TC35 hardware to doctors and patient’s relatives’ mobile phones. Thus, doctors can react quickly to the emergency by taking necessary medication and family members could access to the patient as soon as possible.
