Among these nanomaterials, hollow nano structure materials are special due to their high sensitivity factor, which is an important criterion for sensor materials. In this project, we will use silver (Ag) nanoprism as a template in the formation of Gold (Au) nanoprism frame. Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is used to etch away Ag core to form the Au frame structure. This reaction is stable and controllable, hence, allowing for the use to control the thickness of the Au wall.
