總結:As Solid State Lighting (SSL) is growing rapidly in the industry moving towards replacing conventional lights as Light Emitting Diodes does not emit Ultra Violet, longer lifespan, more economically friendly as compared to fluorescent lighting which uses mercury. The need for reliability in SSL is growing as well and this report investigates on the degradation rate of LEDs being driven at different current densities to study on the degradation rate and use it for simulation of reliability analysis on different connections of a circuit. In this report, it also includes a method of using variable resistors to control current flowing through each LED and thus minimizing degradation rates through current distribution in the circuit.
