Summary:This project is to suitable for student with an interest in power system analysis to understand the concept behind power system state estimation. The student will be tasked to develop a suitable state estimation algorithm using tools such as Matlab to implement and test the state estimator's performance using appropriate data set. State estimator is an online function which is able to give an accurate estimation of the current operating state of the system using various redundant measurements taken from the different device along with other information of the network. In this way, the function of state estimation managed to enhance the capabilities of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems.
