Summary: | This report details the important aspects of my Final Year Project sponsored by Grenzone Pte.Ltd., over a span of 2 academic semesters, from 1st August 2011 till 9th May 2012.
The report first attempts to introduce what Photovoltaic (PV) is all about and the relative new and innovative idea to Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) system. This report will let the reader understand the importance of efficiency to BIPV systems and how temperature affects the efficiency of solar panels.
The report will next attempt to illustrate on the overall preparation required for this project, including all major hardware and software. Details of every components used, functions and their purpose will also be discussed.
Finally, the report will touch on the proposed improvements to improve the efficiency of the BIPV systems. Experiments and analysis, using relevant software, with the proposed improvement will also be presented in my research.
Throughout the report, the reader will also be highlighted on the numerous and multi-faceted aspects of learning that I have discerned from a meaningful and fulfilling Industrial Sponsored Project (ISP) stint with the company. |
