Description
Summary:Improving and enhancing the performance of cellular wireless network has always been an important to improving of communication. It has been shown that peer to peer network model, a mode of communication in wireless network, can result in performance improvements such as increased data rate, reduced transmission power, better load balancing and enhanced network coverage. However, the true impact of adopting peer to peer network model in the urban environment is yet to be fully understood. Thus, this report will focus and look into the peer to peer radio channel modeling in an urban environment and analyze the performance of wireless peer to peer network. Propagation analysis reveals that the standard deviation of shadowing is a function of separation distance between transmitter and receiver. Path loss increases with the lowering of terminal heights, same apply to the probability of a LOS.
