This project considered the study of lead-acid batteries in comparing with sodium sulphur (NaS) batteries, Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries and Flow batteries in terms of battery technologies and also the energy storage application in power systems. A literature review and study on the few types of batteries technology as mention above has been review in terms of technical and economic considerations.
