As the cost of sending an SMS is generally lower as compared to making a phone call, users are more likely to embrace this secondary form of mobile communication [1]. However in this digital age, threats exist everywhere and hackers can compromise the confidentiality of data transfer. Such that sending of confidential data over the unsecured GSM network can be risky as data maybe end up with people that it was not intended for. There are different encryption suits in the market today that allow the end user to send SMS safely by offering different means of encryption such as symmetry or asymmetric cryptography.
