A database is built using mostly internet images for it is fast and cheap. Landmark recognition process is done using approach based on Nist´er‟s and Henrik Stew´enius‟s approach. Problems and solutions of using internet images are discussed. Landmark performance analysis and improvement were done. Possibility of the use of context information like GPS in landmark recognition will also be covered.
