The key problems of complex systems are difficulties conducting their formal modeling and simulation. The modeling of complex system from a theoretical understanding of certain system, build a model, and then simulate its dynamics to gain a better understanding of the properties of a system. Relevant model techniques are explored and applied to the supply chain. The system of supply chain will be an application to test and verify techniques of complex systems. To explore decision makings, the primary task is to modeling the system. Thus the first objective is to frame a supply chain as a complex dynamics system and to verify concepts in complex system can works for supply chain management. After that, different models are compared to select suitable techniques (the way how to simulate a system or structure) for the supply chain system. At last, as the techniques could be effectively describe and simulate the whole system, then we could be able to know what happen if some decisions are made in the system.
