In any case, mid-air ejection of goods and cargo via the tailgate always entails high risk for the C-130H and securing the airdropped goods’ integrity is of topmost priority. Upsweep forces and recirculation zones pose as hazardous environmental factors as they may cause extraction parachutes and goods to be blown off track or become damaged in the extraction process.
