Summary: | When wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are being deployed, the WSN systems often failed to provide the expected results. Therefore, by using the various data dissemination and remotes control schemes that are being implemented in TinyOS to find out about the advantages and disadvantages of the schemes available.
The purpose of this final year project is to study the changes and differences in the transmission of the packets among the different sensors across different radio frequencies ranging from 2405 to 2474 and also to study if the number of packets transmitted will be affected when the Carrier Sensor Multiple Access (CSMA) is being enabled.
From observations, it had shown that the enabling or disabling of CSMA will greatly affect the number of packets generated, transmitted and received over the different frequencies ranging from 2405 to 2474.
In conclusion, the final year project has broadened my insights significantly in the aspect of the WSN. |
