Different governments around the world have implemented various schemes for the people’s benefit. This article aims to study the difference in the social security systems across the 3 countries and analyze the various levels of satisfaction by the citizens and the changes they would like to see implemented. Conclusions show that on the whole, Singaporeans are generally satisfied with the local system even though the other 2 other countries provide a wider array of schemes and benefits. It is also apparent that the 3 countries adopt rather different approaches to social welfare although all 3 share an identical objective; to provide the best welfare for their people.
