Description
Summary:This report introduces a new approach of the development of multilevel DC/AC inverters. The Switched-Inductor Converter Multilevel DC/AC Inverter has a simple structure and clear operation. This new structure differs to the many other multilevel DC/AC inverters by having much lesser components (independent/floating batteries/sources, diodes, Capacitors and switches). It makes use of only 1 inductor in any mode of operation regardless of how great the difference is between the input and output voltages. In this report, we discuss information pertaining to Solar Panel systems, Switched-Inductor Converter and Multilevel Inverters. This project enhances the success of its implementation to solar panel systems through simulation and experimental results. The simulation of this project is done using Psim.
