In the conducted experiment, the software is capable to track red color objects up to certain degree of accuracy. One of the important considerations for the project is the environmental effects on the captured images. The results obtained using the same objects differs depending on the time of the day and the lightning conditions presented during the experiment. However, due to time constraint, the project did not perform a detailed study of the environment considerations. In conclusion, the project has successfully implemented the algorithm using a COTS web camera written in open source C++ program. The software is capable to track relatively slow moving objects with reasonable processing speed.
