| Summary: | According to GLOBOCAN, cancer is the leading cause of disease worldwide. Existing literature on cancer incidence trend has focused on an individual country or region. Therefore, a study for cancer incidence trend across regions in Asia would provide another dimension to the analysis of this global epidemic. In our study, regions selected include Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore and Taiwan. Our study’s primary results are the comparisons of age-standardized rates of these regions. Leading cancer sites for each region are highlighted. Finally, we investigate the cancer risk factors and their impact on cancer incidence trend. |
