In this report, we attempt to look at legal and practical problems companies encountered and factors that influence them when deciding the methods of dealing on the Internet. As the scope is too wide, we have focused our surveys and interviews on businesses that advertise in Commerce Asia of Singnet. We particularly classify these companies into three different levels of participation. Our study highlights that companies in all the levels are more sensitive to the practical rather than legal problems.
