Description
Summary:Since the human visual system (HVS) is the ultimate receiver and appreciator of most images that we handled, appropriate perceptual image quality evaluation models have been developed and applied to various image-related tasks during the past decade. In this project, we study some of the existing No Reference Image Quality assessment (NR-IQA) models and the performance of the respective techniques is analyzed and compared to some other existing models. Benchmarking the state-of-the-art technology is then made in the related area in order to provide the insight for effective deployment.
