Summary:This project is to develop a portable monitoring device using an Android phone. An Android App is developed for this purpose. The scope of this project is the implementation of the data transmission from the Android phone onto a server. A textfield to input data into a database was implemented to simulate data insertion from a Bluetooth device. The sending of data to the server was done by a click of a button. The implementation of a SQL database to store the collected data was successful. The transmission of data to a server was not fully implemented.
