Information visualization brings the users and data they wish to analyse closer using graphical representations. It has become part of ever accelerating and progressing computer technology. In this report, a visualization project of movie data from IMDb website downloaded in text file by a group of NTU senior students as part of their project, is discussed. The main objective is to analyze the relationship of movie information. In order to do so, firstly visualization techniques and characteristics to create an effective visualization is studied. Raw movie data is pre-processed before visualization, and the cleansed data is plotted out in the radial graph. The overall outcome of a graph visualization of IMDb movie data is achieved. Nevertheless, there is still much more research to be done in visualizing movie data like from IMDb website effectively and efficiently. IMDb movie data visualization will be continued to implement for further improvements in the remaining available time frame.
