Poo-Pun Siu Kay, Peggy School of Art, Design and Media DRNTU::Visual arts and music This Final Year Project attempt to investigate if death is a concern to people and what kind of behavior would it bring upon thinking about the remaining time we left. Time is moving forward and we are in the process of expiring. However, the fact has always been neglected or avoided due to its negativity. As such, we live with the mindset that we would live a long life probably up to the age of eighty or more. This might seem optimistic to some; however, unknowingly we had unavoidably taken the time for granted. On top of that, the repeated routine on an everyday basis had made us grew numb to life. We in turn lose track of the time remains. Therefore, when the expiry date is near or here, we regret. Taking the form of illustration based on a true story, my project aims to illustrate the remaining time we have through the concept of the expiry date found on every product. It is not about the idea of understanding what is life and death about because we can never be. However, it is through the realization and conscious take on death that this project encourages a positive usage of time left.
