Description
Summary:Having visited various clinics, there would be different records of medical information for a particular person. Moreover many doctors in clinics still use the traditional way of hardcopy versions to keep track of patients' medical records. Hence, the mobile Outpatient Information System serves to provide a centralized system to manage patients' medical records. This would minimize any form of discrepancies in patient records and also decrease the reliance on hardcopy forms to keep track of patients' records. Such practices would improve accuracy and efficiency for medical personnel and provide an enhanced healthcare service to the public. Patients would also be able to monitor their health and keep track of their medical records. Having a mobile system improves accessibility and allows doctors to respond quickly and efficiently to patients medical needs from anywhere. It also allows patients to access their medical records from any location. The system allows patients to create a personal and relationship records, view/ update these records and keep track of their consultation records. They can book and view appointments with clinics. For doctors, they would be able to view/update/delete patient records and create/update/delete consultation records. A doctor can refer a patient to another doctor. This doctor can in turn approve/ reject the referral. If the referral gets approved, an appointment will be created for both patient and doctor. In this report, technical details have been provided which allows future developers to understand the process and flow of how the system has been designed and developed. Future works have been included as well which could be considered for implementation in the future.
