Description
Summary:Data centre visualization is not something novel in the technologically advanced world today, where many companies seek solutions to manage and retrieve their data centres remotely. Albeit the constantly evolving technological world, data centre visualization across the various platforms have still been yet explored in depth. With mobile devices getting increasingly powerful, one could think of exploring this option for adding value and convenience to the user at large. This project seeks to explore and build applications for data centre visualization across two different but most commonly used platforms - the Web and Android platform. Referencing the green Modular Data Centre built in Nanyang Technological University, the project has been built using a well-known 3D game development software known as Unity3D. The language for programming used is UnityScript under the Windows operating system with some available libraries. Overall, a successful and stable application has been built for the Android and Web platforms. However, there is always room for improvement and hence one can explore the options to develop this project further.
