It helps to provide optimal drugs inventory management by monitoring the drugs movement within the pharmacy unit to ensure the availability of sufficient quantity of drugs at all times. Hence, enhances the efficiency of clinical work and ease patient’s convenience. The system ability to process drug prescriptions with ease helps to maximize productivity. It helps to manage patient’s medication history where records of all drugs that have been previously dispensed to patient’s can be viewed for monitoring purposes. The dispensation process also helps to ensure that medications are safely delivered to the right patients. The list of medicinal drugs information available helps to facilitate the accessibility of drugs information among users. Users can easily search for drug information and the system also allows user to post any drugs or health related questions through the system where the query will be directed to a pharmacy personnel in response for an email reply. Generation of inventory report data which is also possible in this system further helps to make timely decisions and appropriate actions towards smooth operation of pharmacy leading to customer satisfaction.
