This project aims to provide a therapeutic game for severe patients that stimulate the player’s mental capabilities. Play Ball is an application that was developed on the robust Android application framework to be playable on any Android platform. It consists of two different games of varying difficulties and each will require the use of different cognitive capabilities. The game is segmented into two parts with different gameplays and level of difficulty that requires the player to exercise different aspects of cognitive abilities. Play Ball’s games have also been designed with intent of adopting the mentally stimulating benefits of playing games such as bingo and cards.
