Description
Summary:Ultra wideband (UWB) technology is a promising technology for wireless body local area network, offering low power consumption and robust performance in dense multipath environments. Wearable UWB radios are capable of providing high ranging and positioning accuracies in such environment, making it useful for gait analysis. The primary focus of this report will be on the different Ranging Techniques that can be used to obtain the ToA estimation of the UWB ranging and positioning. The student has acquired valuable knowledge and skills from the project and thereby documenting the details in this report. The student will make use of the Matlab software to collate the results obtained to analyze the degree of accuracy that the UWB radio or transceiver is able to provide in the field of gait analysis study.
