Development of an electrokinetic actuator and its applications in compressors
Electroosmotic flows were investigated both numerically and experimentally. An idea to utilize the pressure generated by the flow to drive an actuator was investigated numerically. The possibility of utilizing the actuator in a compressor was then investigated as well.
