As precast construction method is widely used in Singapore HDB project, it is important to improve the precast installation productivity. Thus, the objective of this report is to find out the baseline productivity and average productivity for typical HDB project. In this report, loss of efficiency was been determined and the cause of the loss was fingered out. The most critical factors affecting precast installation productivity were discussed and suggestions were given to increase the effective man hours and productivity. Through this report, it is intended that contractors can use the information as an indicator to evaluate the efficiency of their precast installation work and to help in the planning of work schedules.
