Summary: | As the prevalence of obesity in the modern rise, its association with insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes have been a great concern within the biomedical field. The recent discovery that obesity itself causes low-grade chronic inflammation has led researches to start a research to find out the mechanisms leading obesity to inflammation. In this review, we will look at the physiology of the forming of functional fats and the recent discovery of low-grade inflammatory state in the formation of the abnormal fats in the obese. We will also explore the features of the metabolic inflammatory state, where can we find this inflammatory state in our body and how microbes in our guts also play a role in obesity. |
