Summary: | A hearing aid is an electroacoustic device which typically fits in or behind the wearer's ear, and is designed to amplify and modulate sound for the wearer. It owns a great market prospects and brings much convenience to those who might in need. However, a hearing impaired patient may not able to use the GSM phone or digital mobile phone together with his hearing aids as the interference due to the acoustical feedback becomes severe if the distance of the mobile phone and the hearing aids reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a special device between the hearing aids and the mobile phone to reduce the interference and yet preserve the quality of sound. And this is the point from which our project motivation comes.
In this project, the study of the basic analysis of performance of various types of amplifiers is firstly investigated in literature review followed by one design of low noise amplifier to illustrate the basic design steps. Finally, an external sourced device, i.e. TRF7970A RFID/NFC Development Tool, is connected with the laptop through USB port, for prototype testing purpose. This device enables the transmission of data and two TRF7970A evaluation modules connected together makes the file transfer possible. And this can be used for further study in short range wireless communication system. |
