Description
Summary:Project B5035-121, Acoustic Data Communication for Industrial Drilling Applications, looks at the possible ways of incorporating the multilevel modulation of Amplitude Shift Keying-Frequency Shift Keying (ASK-FSK) into the transceiver architecture of an acoustic telemetry system, such that the architecture embodies balance of good traits, such as high data transmission rates and good bit error rate (BER) performance. This is due to the greater need for communication systems of industrial drilling applications to have a higher throughput. This report relates the author’s findings with regards to the project.
