Looking back to historical records, it can be seen that this area has been started since 100-years ago and developed in a lot of countries. So, step-by-step, Electrical Power Distribution was developed in such a way as DC(1), HVDC(2) Transmission, AC(3) and HVAC(4) Transmission. And a lot of researches have been developed in this as well. Power Quality Control, Power Stability, FACT(5) Devices, Power Conversion System, Power Management System, Microgrid, Microsources are some distinct examples of the researches. On the other hand, Electrical Energy Distribution has been taken into a Smart Management Distribution. Therefore, a lot of people are thinking of the advance facts of Electrical Energy Distribution such as Economical, Stability, Reliability and Safety. Beyond these facts, another factor is the Environmental Defections such as Global Warming, Greenhouse Affect, Acid Rain and so forth. So, a Microgrid to integrate the distributed energy resources (DERs) is developed in this dissertation. Intelligent energy management, control system, conversion system, etc. are developed. Furthermore, control strategies for the microgrid to operate either in grid-connected mode or in islanded mode are discussed.
