Summary: | Fuel cell technology has a good prospect of becoming a clean energy source to against the environmental challenges. Among of various types of fuel cells, Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is selected to be analyzed and studied due to its advantages, high efficiency, and good performance and so on. The study is implemented by simulating the SOFC model that proposed by Padulles. It is to investigate the operation temperature impacts to a SOFC power plant performance. The simulations are conducted by using software Power System Computer Aided Design (PSCAD). In addition, base on the observations, this project will develop a controller to achieve constant output voltage of a fuel cell. And it also will be verified through some cases to prove that the performance of a SOFC power plant is improved after installing the controller. |
