Description
Summary:The Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the emerging technology for the 4G wireless cellular networks. Different from conventional wireless cellular networks, LTE facilitates data transmission between base stations and its mobiles. The aim of this project is to develop sustainable and optimal scheduling policies for radio access networks based on the LTE technology. In the project, various aspects of QoS support solutions for the LTE cellular networks were investigated and algorithms were developed to optimize and enhance the QoS and the capacity of the LTE network.
