Description
Summary:Spray cooling has the ability to remove high heat fluxes for high power systems. As the spray cooling with phase change takes advantage of a relatively large amount of latent heat, therefore it is capable of removing high heat fluxes from surfaces with a low superheat. Studying and understanding the spray characteristics of a jet-swirl nozzle will allow an optimum design of a multi-nozzle plate. Such a design can be used in the application where there is space constraint.
