Summary:The complexities and dynamism involved in a realistic sporting/games environment introduces challenges in addressing the potential injury risks, specifically the non-contact anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury risk, involved to the athletes. Independently, neuromuscular fatigue and perceptual- cognitive skills have been related to such injury risks. This study investigated the combined effects of fatigue and decision-making skills in a side-stepping task performed in a realistic and sports-contextualized setting.
