Summary: | Lower limb fatigue has been closely related to the stability of the gait movement. The additional of load carriage to the gait movement can worsen the overall stability which can lead to fall when performing stair negotiation. Hence, there is a need to conduct the experiment to analysis on the lower limb kinematic and Center of Mass when lower limb fatigue and load carriage is applied at the same time while performing stair negotiation. 12 participants are required to performed stair negotiation on lower limb fatigue and no fatigue with 3 type of load (no load, low load and high) with an interval of 3 day. Result will be tabulated using the mean value of every participant performing after the dominant foot contacted the second stair to dominant foot contacted the fourth stair. Result shows that there is a change in hip and ankle joint when lower limb fatigue and load carriage are applied during stair negotiation. Center of Mass will be closer to the boundary of the Base of Support when lower limb fatigue and load carriage induced. |
