Summary:This report consists of a detail process to redesign a personal aquatic device. This involves a study on drowning statistics in both private and open waters was analysed to find out the factors that contributes to drowning. Through these findings, a personal aquatic device was designed to best address these issues to ultimately reduce the occurrence of drowning. The report also includes prototype fabrication processes involved and the testing of the device performances with respect to swimming.
