Summary: | In the current market, there are many types of indoor dryers. Many of the indoor dryers uses heating unit [6] to dry the clothes. A lot of interest and researches are involved in this area. However, using heating unit to dry clothes indoor became very common. In the current stage, Air Flow became one of the solutions in drying of clothes.
Using heating unit to dry clothes indoor has major disadvantages. The heating unit which also called radiators encourages moulds and dust mites which is bad for people prone to asthma.[10] Indoor drying uses large amount of energy as radiators are often turned up to help the drying process. Therefore, by changing the source of the heat and power used is recommended where it becomes a better choice for household usage.
The aim of this project is to experiment the usage of hot air flow through perforated pipes, to obtain the speed of drying which positively superior than the existing radiator indoor dryer. Perforated pipes are used to channel jet of hot air towards the laundry. By settings the configuration on the orientation, number of pipes and holes, so as to achieve an optimum settings which can obtain the fastest drying rate. |
