Numerical analysis of composite rises using ABAQUS

The main objective and the aim of the project is to understand the behaviours of multi layers composite pipe when subjected to various type of loading, mainly static loading, internal and external pressure on the composite pipe. And the purpose is to make use of the simulated results of the material...

The project also includes the comparison of ANSYS and ABAQUS software to see which would be easier to work with. The research work of this project was carried out in three stages. The first stage involves the literature review of existing work. The research work of what have been done in this area of work. A few journals have been reviewed. The Second stage of this project involves the comparison of both software, between ANSYS and ABAQUS. Both procedures on the approach of a certain condition would be provided. A literature review with simulated and experimental results will also be provided. The third stage of the project is to conduct simulation on a composite riser pipe using ABAQUS software. Different conditions will be simulated and the evaluation of the results comparing different conditions will be provided.
