Summary:The main objective of this project is to be able to recognize a mass number of faces efficiently and accurately in the context of social network, Facebook. The Facebook’s application of automated face recognition in high quality digital photographs poses a challenge on the face detection algorithms. This challenge will create potentially controversial upgrade and let users upload photographs as easy as possible based on facial recognition technology. Through the features extraction Local Binary Pattern and Local Derivative Pattern, and classification AdaBoost, with implementation of K-Nearest Neighbor and ROC Curve are fully exploited.
