Summary: | Daily activities today mainly rely on our hands’ ability to control the physical objects. Human-Machine interface (HMI) is an interface that human can directly interact with machines, using their finger touch.
HMI plays an important role for the advance technology today and for future. The technical achievement today in HMI is not enough for the future implementation. New levels of sensors are believed to be created, increasing the accuracy and sensitivity of the current HMI for further touch application.
This report gives an account of 1-year final year project spend in the area of HMI, mainly focus on improving the accuracy and sensitivity of HMI through the study and experiments on various sensors. |
