As images in modern world have become more important than ever before, the utilization of them also becomes heated topic. Since the quantity of images is so large, different tools had been developed to make use of them. One most famous source of images is the panoramio website. And up to now, there is no tool or program that can make use of the website, yet the resource is so gigantic. So a database that can download and store the images of the website is of great need. The online graphic poster database is based on a downloading tool. The design and construction of this tool is the pivot of this paper. The tool is divided into two modules, the scanning module and the downloading module. Scanning module serves to confirm which images need to and can download, it also contact with Panoramio API to receive a JSON string that make downloading module possible. The downloading module just will process the JSON string and get the key words. Then it will download images and related doculemt files according to the key words. The database is organized by the download operation. After careful tests, different results were obtained. Most of the results pleasantly match the aim of this tool. For each different combination of downloading options, correct images and related document files which match the downloading options were downloaded and stored in local disk. It fulfill the object of online graphic poster database.
