Mathematics has been one of the subjects which require ample practice to ensure better understanding. Currently, educators provide worksheets and assessment books to improve students’ performances. However, the amount of questions obtained is limited to its content. The assessment system for mathematics would be the solution towards providing the key elements to which technology can be used to provide a better education system. It has the ability to generate random questions dynamically through each specific question type instead of fixed questions being stored in the database. With such features, this system would be able to provide an unlimited mathematical assessment questions. The approach of the project was designed based on the existing and uncompleted Primary 6 Mathematics System which provides a basis towards achieving a completed system with many distinct additional features. The current system provides the standard program structure which allows the basic generation of unlimited mathematical questions, segregated based on different topics and question types. In addition of the online assessment, questions could also be generated through word documents and be completed offline. The completed system provides additional topic expansions as well as enhancements; taking it to greater heights. Systematic approach towards marking the students’ work as well as generation of examination papers would be the highlight of the new system. Thus, the completed project has closed the technological gap in inculcating education in the area of mathematics. Students would now be able to obtain exposure and practice to unlimited mathematics assessment questions based on the question types they are weak in. In addition, the system would now be able to indicate the mistakes made by the students based on their workings as well as their final answers.
