This project is aiming to figure out the correlation between chosen basic aesthetic standards and the rating of family photographs. The results come from this project will be used as reference to build a family photo rating prediction software, which will be one module of an integrated family photo management software from Panasonic Singapore Laboratory. This report documents the motivation of creating a family photo assessment module, aesthetics and principles of the method used in this project, the detailed method development and the result discussion. Additional parts like recommendations for future development are also included.
