Description
Summary:Microwave power dividers are passive microwave devices widely used in radio technology. In this project, a wideband power divider on microstrip line is designed and simulated using the Advanced Design System (ADS) software. This power divider is designed with stepped-impedance resonator (SIR). A resistor is installed between the two output ports. During the simulation, this power divider shows 3 dB power dividing between the input and output ports, as well as good isolation between the output ports in the frequency range of 4 – 10 GHz. Overall, the result of this power divider is quite good.
